Social media and digital marketing to recruit new staff.

Sumwot Social have helped us with some recruitment projects which have had very successful outcomes. They are always helpful and patient when explaining the technicalities of social media. They “go the extra mile” and seem to really care about getting the best results for us.

Sumwot Social was delighted to help Coburg Coffee with their recent recruitment drive. 

Coburg Coffee have been roasting coffee since 1963 in their factory near the Thames Barrier in Woolwich. 

We were contacted to help them to train staff on how best to use LinkedIn and possible strategies to use for developing further business from their existing client base. In addition, they want to understand the best practices for using LinkedIn to research, publicise and recruit new members of staff.

A LinkedIn paid for advert was created for the vacant position. 

To ensure that we gain the most about of applications we created a number of digital strategies which redirected people to the advert on LinkedIn.

Within one month they had applications from 49 potential candidates. They eventually got this list down to a handful of candidates and are currently undertaking 2nd interviews for the position. 

Most recently Coburg Coffee have asked for our help again this time with an Assistant Coffee Roaster position. After some research we decided to try a different route and use the website Coffee Jobs Board.  However, like before we have publicised the job on other sites with links back to the original job posting.
